The company was established in the 1970’s and was initially focused on moulding, steel profiles and roof top systems for iconic car companies like Pininfarina, Ferrari and Maserati. Bruno Michelini, the founder’s son, developed and trained his skills in the workshop; since 1994, he devoted himself to business growth, entering into new sectors, like aeronautics, aerospace and special vehicle industry.

Thanks to this courageous and strategic vision, the new, refocused company Michelini Aviauto was established in 2006 and has since then successfully grown, with relentless investments and product/market diversification.

“Yes, indeed, this was a challenging transformation, but it proved to be a successful one. After the big crisis in 2009, we saw a gradual decline in orders coming from the automotive industry, but at that stage we were already able to produce complex components for new markets, unlike our competitors. So that’s what we did, and we haven’t looked back since!”

Today,Michelini Aviauto get recognition and appraisal in all relevant markets. Mr. Michelini is still hands-on in the company, for personally assuring respect of commitments, product quality and full customer satisfaction
